Christ Lutheran Church is not only a place of worship; it also is a community of believers who share in fellowship with each other and with Christ. As Lutherans, that fellowship often includes food!
After every Sunday service, we gather together at an informal coffee hour. Volunteers supply light snacks, coffee and juice. It is a great opportunity get to know one another or catch up with friends.
During Lent and Advent, our midweek services are preceded by a simple soup and bread supper that allow us to gather together and prepare for the brief prayer service that follows.
Each summer, we share in a special outdoor worship service in the Aurora Park, followed by our church picnic. During the potluck picnic, we share food and fun. Volunteers also provide desserts, which we auction off in support of our Backpack Buddies ministry.
